Welcome to the PTOB homepage
The Polish Botanical Garden Society (PTOB) was registered in Warsaw in 1997.
The main purpose of the Society is to care for and preserve Poland's botanical gardens and other plant collections. The Society's major tasks are to raise social awareness of its educational and promotional initiatives and engage in activities and undertakings that will preserve, enhance and extend gardens and collections.
These aims are predominantly achieved by helping Society members create, enrich and maintain botanical collections, by taking on a consultative and advisory role, and through scientific and educational collaboration, disseminating botanical and horticultural knowledge, and publishing activities.
